MICHI

Michelle "Michi" Boman / Graphic Designer / 2017

Project Background

In 2017, I worked with Michelle on a brand refresh and update. Previously known as Michirage online, she decided to rebrand herself as Michi, dropping the "rage" from her name. During our discussions about the project, Michelle expressed her desire to retain a memory of her past while incorporating her passions into the new brand. After careful consideration, we decided to create a pineapple mascot, as pineapples were one of Michelle's favorite foods, and infuse it with a distinct personality.

To capture the playful and lighthearted essence of Michelle's channel, we designed the pineapple mascot with a cheeky smirk, emphasizing its tongue-in-cheek nature. In addition to creating her new logo, I was also responsible for updating her graphics across various platforms, including social media posts, stream overlays, panels, and more. This comprehensive update ensured a cohesive and engaging visual experience for Michi's audience.

By integrating the pineapple mascot and incorporating it consistently across different elements, we successfully refreshed and modernized Michelle's brand, aligning it with her personality and passions. The refreshed visuals helped her establish a strong and recognizable presence in her online endeavors.
